Another Raid Soundly Thrashed!

Hound of Xoriat Defeated!!

Well, that�s another raid the Legion has come, seen and conquered. The Legionnaires, showing their typical grit and determination advanced into the Subterrain under Stormreach and entered the very lair of the mother hound of Xoriat, braved its breath of killer bees and then proceeded to slap that mother of all beasts with a rolled up news paper across the snout�. And then they let its offspring devour what was left.

Present for this Guild First was: MrPlow, Hopefully, Sabitar, Asterock, Luckyjones, Uberforged, Torpedoes and Aylan. Helping out the Legion for their first victory was Mystikel, Misterecko, Therevrun and Lirien. Thanks you all.

The Legion has now added the Hound of Madness Raid to its regular raid schedule! That�s right; you can catch all the Beast of Madness slaying goodness Every Wednesday night, right after the Legion puts the hurt on the Stormreaver at 20:00.

HUB CRUSHES Imperius TF with 4 Supers!

The HUB continues to dominate all facets of content in City of Heroes and this time we've done it style. First, you may have heard we were the first on the server to complete the ITF just an hour after it went live. Now, we're coming back to you with another server first and potentially a game first. The 4 Super ITF! We'll be back with more challenges later, but this one definitely was fun. The team consisted of The Mighty Skoraeus, Master Buddah, Coma., and Fission Man.
The team really hummed along devouring all the content with ease. The AVs presented no challenge as they were easily dispatched. We manage to complete it in under 2 hours at 1:56, but we expect to be much faster next time.

Well, it was just a matter of time until the Forgotten Legion spread its influence to another facet of life�Podcasting!

Debuting this week, Buzzsaw has begun a new segment on Jerry Snook�s weekly Podcast �DDOCast� called GuildLife. But, no matter what game you play, everyone can benefit from his insightful views on, and about, life in a guild. Buzz�s first topic is "Starting the Guild", and it will just go from there. Planned upcoming topics include, Drama, Leadership, Drawing the Line as well as a slew of many, many more insightful and fascinating ideas.

With Turbine�s April Fools joke about �Pimp my Warforged�, we here at the Forgotten Tales were faced with a dilemma, unbeknownst to Turbine, there were already 2 weeks of the Forgotten Tales already drawn up to deal just with this topic but not yet released.

Forced with having to shred these issues for fear of cries of plagiarism, We hastily sent off a letter to Tolero thanking them for scooping us here at the tales and forcing us to scrap already completed work. To their credit, the fine people at Turbine were sympathetic to our plight and offered to make it up to us by making appearances in the next Forgotten Tales Movie!

Naturally, we could not let such a once-in-a-lifetime offer pass us by and to we took them up on their generous offer and produced this week�s very special issue of the Forgotten Tales: Beaten to the Punch (Line) with Special guest stars Tolero and Quarion (Turbine�s DDO Community Service Team).

The Forgotten Tales Receives Turbine�s Thread of the Week Nod!!

Well, it�s been a little under a year of grand adventure and calamity for the cast and crew of the Forgotten Tales and Turbine has finally seen fit to award the Forgotten Tales its Thread of the Week Designation for its two year anniversary of Dungeons and Dragons On-line!

See For Yourself! We Ain't Lying!! WE SWEAR!!

But nothing happens without participation, and the Tales would be nothing without the good men and women of the legion who have donated their time each week to produce this labor of love.

So this award is not for one person, but for all the Legionnaires who took the time and interest in the tales to participate in its shooting week after week. Ladies and Gentlemen, your help is the reason why the Tales are as great as they are and we deeply, deeply thank you for all your efforts from the Bottom of our hearts.

And, of course, here�s to all the loyal readers of the Tales. No mater how good we could ever hope to make the Forgotten Tales; we would be nothing without each and every one of you who take the time to stop by each week and look in on the Lives of our hapless Heroes of Stormreach.

HUB Beats Hamidon on First Attempt!

Team HUB Beats Hamidon on First Try!

On our very first attempt, the HUB (Heroes United in Brotherhood) defeated the dreaded Hamidon at 6:30PM PST on 2/16/08! Huge thanks go out to all the HUB members who came out for the special event. It was absolutely brilliant and a massive team effort. A special thank you goes out to the leadership who really took charge and organized this massive effort. In no particular order and with complete respect to everyone's efforts, special thanks go out to Rhynwa, Darque Beast, Army of None, Cat Scratch Fever, Forgotten Guardian, Sun "I can't believe I was late" Splitter, Lord Seethe, Ziggy, and the whole awesome HUB crew!

I can only give you the view from the main taunt team, but it was a thing of beauty. We went in the first round and just got trounced because we had no idea what to expect. By round 3, we were on it and the taunt team was just awe inspiring. Dirk Crusher had a particularly brilliant run where it seemed like he was surfing the agro and damage for days - Nice one!

Our brilliant YICCT teams were just downright professional. They were busting bubbles left and right. The tanks were practically dizzy from having to spin around Hami with all the mitos dropping so fast. Great job!

Thank you, Team HUB for an incredible experience. It was great to be part of such an awesome team. I can't wait until we do it again.
